In the Sun

Wearing:PIOL dress c/o,Vince heels,Oliver Peoples sunglasses c/o SeasideLuxe

#TBT is coming a day late.

Earlier this week, I came across some unpublished photos all the way back to Anguilla. How I would kill to be transported there with the snap of my fingers. We all can dream.

Whilst in Anguilla, I sported this custom Piol dress several nights. And just in time for the holidays, Piol is the perfect party pal to avoid an unwanted #twinning this season.

Python

I hope you had a lovely weekend and Easter!

A few months ago, I came across a new level of online shopping; The Dreslyn. To say the least, it might be one of the best curated shops ever. Full of my favorite designers (hey Zimmermann, A.P.C.  Heidi Merrick), I am astonished that I had a some self control when surfing through the site. The two items I did purchase were a grey sweatshirt (worn here) and these Zimmermann shorts which came with me to Anguilla. I sported silk shorts quite a bit last summer but these have kicked it up a notch. Pairing them with my go-to Equipment blouse that I might wear at least once a week (praise you Equipment) made me feel as if I was wearing sleepwear... for some odd reason, it seems that I am currently into pajama dressing. The python print brought a welcomed change to my usual stripes and solid wardrobe.

Twirl

Wearing: Alice & Olivia skirt, (similar)and cami,(similar)and Valentino sandals (loaned)

When I was about five or six, I had a light blue Cinderella dress that had a train that sparkled. I used to run down this long hallway (which resulted in me falling every two minutes... some things never change) and the train would fly up around me. Everytime I wore my Cinderella dress it brought a smile to my five year old self. In all honesty, I think I still have the dress but it has seen better days.

When the amazing Seaside Luxe team let me play dress up in their Viceroy boutique, I beelined to this Alice & Olivia maxi skirt. All those princess memories flooded back into my head as I twirled under Anguilla's early morning sun.

Simplicity

Spell dress, Oliver Peoples sunglasses c/oSeaside Luxe

One evening in Anguilla, I slipped on a simple dress and headed down to my favorite area of Barnes Bay. The beautiful beach is filled with hanging ivy and conch shells that scatter the beach. The few moments right before sunset were serenity at its finest.

This Spell dress was my go-to little number during my time in Anguilla. It's a breezy little dress that everyone should have for summer and so on (i.e. musical festival season). This simplistic slip can be worn many different ways for those summer nights that will be soon dawning upon us (it's coming!)
