Wow, it's been awhile since I've done an outfit post around here, I need to get those blogging muscles back in actions. Before I head back to school in due time, I have been a busy bee by working on a plethora of content to roll out over the next month or so. If I happen to go radio silent at all (which is 100% going to happen), odds are I'm piled up to my head in school work. Aha, oh help. In other news, I've developed quite a crush on cherries lately, both sartorially and gastronomically. This new Reál top is simply sealing the deal and kissing the lips on this love affair.

Before you go, many of you ask what size I wear in Reál... I normally wear a medium in the tops/dresses, but then bring them to the tailor to get them taken in here and there. However, I'd recommend sizing up if you are in-between sizes.

Little Red Hoodie

Oh, athleisure. You shook up the fashion industry and brought comfort to the impractical.

I will debate the pros and cons of incorporating god forsaken athleisure apparel into one's clothing arsenal until I'm blue in the face. Trust me I love comfort just as the next person, but denim always wins over leggings. On the other hand, hoodies are a whole another story. It's the sportier sister of the cableknit in my eyes and most definitely the favorite of the moment. While a no-brainer pre and post workout, it is also best paired with a handful of classics. I personally recommend Gucci loafers, or something of that sort, to induce confusion of others on why the hell you are pairing a hoodie with loafers. The answer? For the sake of fashion, of course.

Meet The Red Mini

Meet the red miniskirt, it's the denim skirt's flirtatious cousin.  A little bit foxy, but also hella classic. The rusty color screams Autumn weekends frolicking away or brunching on a busy sidewalk street... whatever is your preferred cup of tea. The OG denim skirt isn't disappearing for good, but the sassy and superstar cousin is taking center stage for the time being.

Cherry Red

Wearing: The Reformation dress (old, shop similar below), Vince flats, Essex La clutch c/o

For every single social event last year that required some sort of  "fancy-shamncy" attire, I found myself bustling around to find a dress. This year, things will be different.

I promised myself to actually purchase a dress at least 72 hours in advance, compared to my old  adventures in overnight shipping (that ends up costing more than the dress itself). Not that these dresses aren't awesome or anything, but the STRESS that comes from last mintute shopping is sometimes higher than pre-test stress. Why? Beats me.

Once my favorite black-tie party rolls around later this fall, I hold my word to an instagrammed snap of the dress at least 48 hours (let's not get ahead of ourselves) before the shin-dig.

Pinky-promise.

Until we are faced with said situation, here is a dress that I bought two years ago and just got around to wearing it last month. Oh, the irony.

Red Handed

Starting this Monday with a bang and my new favorite color, cherry red. When Fall rolls around... uh, today, my wardrobes simplifies to a handful of curated pieces.

You caught me (red-handed). #punnyfunny

This sweater? Impulse buy from that cunning little Spaniard- go back to Friday to catch my drift. An oversized knit paired with light wash denim and a ladylike pump is should I say, the ideal juxtaposition for September sartorial selection aka "the tedious task of getting dressed in the wee hours of the morning"

But back to that nonsense of curated pieces. It isn't a complete white lie, folks!! This weekend I lived in 6 pieces: two jeans, one stripe, one sweater (25% off),one sneaker, and one slide-on. Mind you, my weekend consisted of Netflix and homework... party hard?I plan to break out my cherry red jumper once again, fluffiness, color and all next weekend.
