Rag and Bone

Urban Safari

Wearing: Rag & Bone blouse (borrowed from my mom), Vintage Levis cutoffs, Asos duster, Chanel ballet flats

Perhaps we should all agree for once and all that leopard/cheetah no longer falls under the category of prints. I am not one to jump up and down for digitally enhanced prints that give off trippy and kalescopic vibes when being worn, so you can understand why I love a good animal print. Worn with distressed denim and navy.... but c'mon what else is new?

In other news, I've fallen head over heels with the combination of cutoffs paired with more feminine pieces like ballet flats and girly-lish blouses. Yes, despite my sporty antics I do like a ruffle here and there. Whilst still looking easy and cool, it gives a more tailored impression than a t-shirt.

Well, I'll be damned. You caught me blushing!

This time around, I don't mind if I do... with leather clad legs and rose-gold wings, no less.

A skip and hop through the rainbow and we've struck a good pot of blush (rose) gold.

Rational Shopping

All rational thinking goes out the window when it comes to online shopping. Somehow, I convince myself that it's perfectly justifiable to buy another pair of sneakers or

leather jacket

 (err... it's on sale!)

 with summer around the corner. Never less, some of these items are essential to every girl's wardrobe;

denim shorts

, perhaps?

Push aside the thought of practicality, all these items are at the top of my list. Not that I need anymore shoes, but

these sandals

fit the bill for my feet- neutral and (almost) flat. Double check. Those paired with a

striped top

and shorts is my soon-to-be uniform.

 Rational shopping? That's right.

Whoever said that you can't wear summer pieces in the middle of winter was very

wrong. I purchased these rag & bone jeans this previous summer on super sale at Intermix. They are a little bit edgier than basic white because of the bleached fabric and zippers at the ankles- which are perfect for showing off killer heels. Of course I am wearing head-to-toe blue again. A chunky sweater is one stop layering and ideal on Winter days. My rule on knits- the thicker, the better especially during polar vortexes.

How in the world is it November?! October flew by- my birthday feels like ages ago. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for this month. It's the beginning of the holiday season (53 days 'till Christmas!) and the weather becomes absolutely perfect. Above I'm sharing everything I'm loving this month. Holiday candles are burning in my room- the new

ones are my favorite! I've been wearing a darker lip more than normal. For someone who only wears lip balm, it's quite different. I am slowly changing up my room- needlepoint pillows add character and cheekiness to any room. Blair Eadie launched her

Bauble Bar collection

 earlier this week- this

happy necklace

is a favorite piece of mine! Matching crop tops and skirts are my new favorite combo- a neutral color like grey makes them chic not trashy. Cute beanies are perfect for staying warm and cute (the sparkle adds a nice touch). Hope you have a great weekend!

Rag & Bone hat

This is the ideal fall outfit- mixed textures, cozy layers, and a warm color palette. I picked up this

fur vest

last week and couldn't wait to wear it over the weekend. The quality is amazing and the price is on point-

I do suggest ordering one size up for layering.

This hat from Rag & Bone is a new favorite of mine. It solved all those bad hair days and not to mention it's perfect for chilly mornings.
