Cabana Stripes

One of my must watch during Paris Fashion Week, Jacquemus is the brand behind my beloved

"J'aime la Vie" t-shirt

. This season's collection is an upbeat affair reminiscent of the young designer's summering in the South of France. Playfulness and just what you picture a

wearing. Nope? Just me... well, you get the gist.

Triangle 'kinis, white trousers, and cabana stripes are the perfect beach attire you could ask for.

The collection, which was split into two separate vibes still radiated a relaxed and playful feel, The unofficial first part was full of minimalistic separates, a plethora of mesh, and laid-back silhouettes. Ya know, your go-to pieces for when the summer season rolls around.

On the other hand, structural stripes continue the charade of beach cheekiness, but with a play on smart shapes. Not exactly your #normcore street style, but Jacquemus' infectious charm has captures our black and white hearts once again.

To start this monday off on the proper foot, I would like to state that indeed, school and street style have taught me one thing.

That the idea of wearing your trainers with anything other than athletic wear seems far out and would end up as one of Glamour's Don'ts. In the midst of my classes and pursuing Tommy and other camera wielded superstars, the combination of sneakers with a skirt, then dressed back down with your best t-shirt, creates that effortless look we all long for the minute we step into our closet. Plus, quirkier details like a silk scarf bring in color and some details. You see, it is a complex fashion formula of wearing sneakers and avoiding "Tacky Tally" territory. In short:

Sneakers will forever and always be your best friend.

And in this case, if it cross your mind that I'm missing school, you've thought wrong (long live summer!). Yet, ironically, I am learning math navigation for sailing as I type. School (plus, style.com) never leaves you.

La Vie

Wearing:Jacquemus t-shirt,Heidi Merrick shorts c/o, Chanel flats, Céline tote, Ray-Ban shades

Possibly my favorite impulse buy ever from fresh French designer,Jacquemus. The 90s inspired poppy prints and color-blocking added a refreshing twist to my wardrobe of the norm-core neutrals and such. Accessories from my other favorite Frenchies (Phoebe and Coco) refine my Saturday strolling duds. Because j'aime la vie and we should should live a little. Isn't Jacquemus right? Aha, oui. Last weekend, Amy gave me a mini tour of the West Village. I'm excepting to move into an ivy covered townhouse asap- perhaps this one here and a bike too. K, thanks.

On the topic of color sporting and loving life, today is Prize Day and I'm wearing pink. Oh yes,Barbie pink. Don't fret kids, tousled locks and layered metals are also involved in the situation. C'est la vie!
