Sweatshirt Gold

Wearing:Acne Studios sweatshirt,Stuart Weitzman boots,J.Crew skirt,Saint Laurent bag

After much convincing to myself that this sweatshirt was worth every little penny, I took the bait on Otte. Buyers remorse? Nope. It most definitely beats my oversized hoodies, to say the least. Perhaps one of the most known pieces of the Euro powerhouse, I finally jumped on the street style gold sweatshirt bandwagon. Never the less, God bless Acne and it's ability to win my heart with it's Scandi coolness and all that jazz. The best part of it all... weekend dressing just became a walk in the park.

On another note, today is my BIRTHDAY! I celebrated most of the weekend, so today will be a pretty low key day.

I was feeling generous and decided to give you all another healthy helping of good old New York City in what other than black and white. Quite a fine one she is, don't you agree?

Or

I might just be downright obsessed with these photos.

On the other end, as you are reading this I am in the complete opposite end of the concrete jungle spectrum.

 You guessed it.

The ocean blue.

Time to set sail to Buzzards Bay for the 2014 Vineyard Race. A sunrise/moonrise instagram will be coming your way soon enough. 'Laters gators.

Schooled

Wearing :Jacquemus t-shirt,Nike sneakers,J.Crew skirt,Marc by Marc sunglassesWanderlust & Co bracelets and rings, Hermes scarf

To start this monday off on the proper foot, I would like to state that indeed, school and street style have taught me one thing.

That the idea of wearing your trainers with anything other than athletic wear seems far out and would end up as one of Glamour's Don'ts. In the midst of my classes and pursuing Tommy and other camera wielded superstars, the combination of sneakers with a skirt, then dressed back down with your best t-shirt, creates that effortless look we all long for the minute we step into our closet. Plus, quirkier details like a silk scarf bring in color and some details. You see, it is a complex fashion formula of wearing sneakers and avoiding "Tacky Tally" territory. In short:

Sneakers will forever and always be your best friend.

And in this case, if it cross your mind that I'm missing school, you've thought wrong (long live summer!). Yet, ironically, I am learning math navigation for sailing as I type. School (plus, style.com) never leaves you.

Grove Street

Wearing:BDG shirt,J.Crew skirt,Saint Laurent bag,Vince flats,Madewell shades,Topshop choker

In between proper laughs and shooting photos, Gracey,Chloe ,and I walked around the always charming West Village. We ventured deep within the village to my favorite street, Grove. The quaint street is lined with ivy covered townhouses (when can I move in?), and has this hidden treasure of a courtyard which you'd never think was in New York City. On the topic of a treasure, when I was in Bergdorf Goodman a few weeks ago, I scored this Hedi Slimane validated bag 50% off- great finds in a great city.

I

might

or

might not

be obsessed with these boots. Honestly, you feel super cool when you wear them.  Never would I think I would be wearing over-the-knee boots, but here I am. They are much easier to style and pull off than you think. An oversized cashmere sweater adds coziness to the rest of the look, which makes it more my style. I kinda also love this look that Blake Lively wore in

Lucky Magazine

I am thinking about putting my own spin on it, while sporting my

babies

. I would love to know your thoughts over-the-knee boots- share down below.
