I am back friends- sorry for being absent around here. I have been down in Florida for a sailing regatta since Wednesday- check out my

for some snapshots. Today is the last day and tonight I will be flying home (not too thrilled to leave warm weather). I shot these photos with

last week outside an incredible building on Bond Street. Here I am again wearing my new favorite

from Mango.

It might be one of my smartest purchases I've ever made. Because it is still Winter (the mini mountains of snow remind us!) it was essential to layer up with a heavy coat and cozy sweater. With all the dark colors, white jeans gave a much needed relief of white to the outfit. The small details like the quilting on the

and pop of stripes add interest to an otherwise simple outfit. Enjoy your Sunday!

This is the ideal fall outfit- mixed textures, cozy layers, and a warm color palette. I picked up this

fur vest

last week and couldn't wait to wear it over the weekend. The quality is amazing and the price is on point-

I do suggest ordering one size up for layering.

This hat from Rag & Bone is a new favorite of mine. It solved all those bad hair days and not to mention it's perfect for chilly mornings.

I cleaned out my closet recently, only to discover I have no shirts in red, emerald, and orange. Because of that, this past week  I went to my favorite stores; Intermix, Otte, and Joie. While I was shopping, I bought three new shirts in all those colors. I love having a variety of different colors to mix and match! I tend to wear a lot more colors during the Spring and Summer too! I love this blouse I picked up from Otte. The simple cut makes it a versatile piece, but is chicer and bolder with the emerald color! (Emerald is the Color of the Year, too!) I paired with simple jewels and a fun, colorful pair of heels! I have to add, I am obsessed with these shoes! The lucite heel and colorful metallic are a super fun!

Stripes + Plaid

During  the weekend, my family and I made a quick trip up to Newport, Rhode Island to watch my brother compete in a college sailing regatta. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures above, but it was really cold! I ended up adding a leather jacket underneath the outer one for extra warmth! (Spring, where are you?!)

For my outfit, I did something I don't do very often, which is mixing prints. I have been pinning a lot of mixed print looks recently and I guess I was influenced to rock it myself. Even though the mixing is not as bold, I love how the look turned out. I am obsessed with the striped A.L.C. sweater which I scored off of Gilt. It's almost cropped but not quite. The plaid flannel is cozy while the shoes and bag (Clare Viver, surprise surprise) complete the red/white/blue color scheme. Patriotic, If I don't  say.

Schoolboy Blazer

One of my favorite items in my closet is my Crewcuts Boy Blazer. I received this blazer as a gift in 2009, way before I started blogging. Even though I was only ten, I felt so chic wearing my new blazer with jeans and my sparkly Crewcuts shirt. I always have been interested in fashion from wearing my Mom’s black strappy Chanel shoes that were three sizes too big to admiring the latest cover girls on Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Flash forward to February 2010, the last year that New York Fashion Week was held at Bryant Park. I was very fortunate to attend the Tommy Hilfiger show. I wore the Crewcuts blazer with a navy bubble skirt, a navy t-shirt, and my black ballet flats. I felt so chic in the blazer. It was such an amazing opportunity to attend the show and sit across from the legendary Anna Wintour.
I still wear my Crewcuts blazer. Surprisingly, it still fits me. The memories that have come along with the blazer are what is most special to me. I will always love my navy blazer.
To add a little Spring flair to my look, I paired my new cap-toe flats with basic jeans. A bright blue button down keeps the look colorful.

Deer Valley was such a fun trip! The skiing was amazing, the food was delicious, and the weather was perfect! Our favorite post-ski spot was up on the mountain at the St.Regis. The view was incredible up there! Here I mix and matched to create a neutral based outfit, that was both cozy and chic.

Keep on Sailing,
